Privacy policy

2. Information stored on your device only

When you use the App, the following are saved locally on your device (using on-device storage) and are never sent to us:

• Cover page content you enter: institute/school name, project title, subject, session, your name, roll number, guide/teacher name, and similar fields.
• Resume content you enter: your name, contact details (such as email, phone number and links), education, work experience, skills, summary, and a profile photo if you add one.
• Logos, photos and images you choose from your device. The App uses the system photo picker, so it only sees the image you select.
• App preferences and state: saved templates and themes, drafts, recent items, appearance setting, your premium/template-unlock status, daily free-design unlocks, and referral codes used for the "refer a friend" feature.
• Exported files (PDF, PNG, JPG), which are saved to your device's storage (for example, the Downloads folder) or shared through the apps you choose, such as WhatsApp.

You can remove this data at any time by deleting it in the App, clearing the App's storage in your device settings, or uninstalling the App.

3. Sharing your files

When you share a cover page or resume (for example, to WhatsApp or by email), the file is handed to the app you pick using your device's standard share feature. What that app does with it is governed by that app's own privacy policy. We do not receive a copy.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays ads using Google AdMob: banner ads, ads between screens, and optional ads you can choose to watch in exchange for a reward (such as exporting a file or unlocking today's free design). Rewarded ads are only shown after you tap to agree, and you can always say no.

To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and process certain information, which may include:

• Device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID), IP address, and general device information;
• App usage and ad-interaction data;
• Approximate, non-precise location derived from IP address.

Ads may be personalized (based on your interests) unless you choose otherwise as described in section 5 or in your device's settings.

This data is collected by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's policies:

• Google Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
• How Google uses information from sites/apps that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

5. Your ad privacy choices

The App uses Google's User Messaging Platform to ask for, and remember, your ad privacy choices where the law requires it.

• EEA, UK and Switzerland: when you first open the App, you are asked whether you consent to personalized ads and related data use. You can consent, decline, or manage individual options. If you decline, you may still see non-personalized ads.
• US states with privacy laws (such as California): you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising.
• Changing your choice: if either of the above applies to you, an "Ad privacy settings" link appears at the bottom of the App's home screen. Tap it to review or change your choice at any time.
• Everyone: you can also limit ad personalization in your device's settings (for example, Settings → Google → Ads) by deleting or resetting your Advertising ID.

6. Other network connections

The App needs an internet connection. Besides ads, it connects to:

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com), to load the typefaces used in templates. Like any web request, this shares your IP address with Google. No content you type is sent.
• Google Play, to check whether a newer version of the App is available and to open the App's store page when you choose to update or rate it.

7. Google Play install referrer

When the App is installed from Google Play through a friend's invite link, the App reads the Google Play install referrer to recognize that the install came from a referral (used to unlock templates). This is processed on your device and is not linked to your identity or sent to our servers.

8. Permissions

The App may request or use the following:

• Internet access — used to load ads, fonts, and to communicate with Google Play services.
• Storage / media access — used only so you can pick an image and save your exported files. On modern Android versions the App uses the system photo picker and media store, which do not require broad storage permission. Storage permission is only requested on older Android versions that need it. We do not scan, upload, or read other files on your device.

9. Children's privacy

FrontPage Pro is intended for students and may be used by minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The content you enter stays on your device. Advertisements are provided by Google AdMob; where the App is treated as directed to children, ad serving is configured to comply with applicable requirements (such as Google Play Families policy and COPPA). If you believe a child has provided personal information that should be removed, contact us using the details below.

10. Data sharing and selling

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share the content you create. The only third-party processing is by Google, for advertising (sections 4 and 5), fonts and app updates (section 6).

11. Data retention and deletion

Because your content is stored locally, it remains on your device until you delete it (in the App, by clearing the App's data, or by uninstalling). For advertising data held by Google, see Google's privacy policy for retention and deletion options, and use your device's Ads settings to reset your Advertising ID.

12. Security

Your content stays on your device, which reduces exposure. However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data handled by third-party services such as Google.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and posting the revised policy at the same URL. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
